Professional Fees
You are responsible for paying at the time of your session unless prior arrangements have been made. Payment must be made by check, cash, or credit credit. If you refuse to pay your debt, Restoring Wellness Counseling reserves the right to use an attorney or collection agency to secure payment. If such legal action is necessary, its costs will be included in the claim. There will be a $35 check charge for each returned check due to insufficient funds.
If you anticipate becoming involved in a court case, we recommend that we discuss this fully before you waive your right to confidentiality. If your case requires my participation, you will be expected to pay for the professional time required even if your counselor is called to testify by another party.
Fees are non-negotiable.
The same charges that apply to counseling also to other professional services you may need, though we will prorate the hourly fee if we work for periods of less than hour. Other services include report writing, telephone conversations lasting longer than 5 minutes, attendance at meetings with other professionals you have authorized, preparation of records or treatment summaries, and time spend performing any other service you may request of center.
Restoring Wellness desires to help all that genuinely want it regardless of their financial circumstances. To receive sliding scale fees, you must present proof of income through recent pay stubs or tax forms and apply for the Scholarship Sliding Scale. Fees are subject to change at counselor’s discretion. We also agree to accept a payment plan, in qualifying situations, without charging any interest. Please see the weekly payment agreement.
Fee Schedule
Updated Fee Schedule (Effective as of 12/13/2023)
I am committed to providing the highest quality of care and service. To continue offering this level of support, I have updated my fee schedule:
- Standard Session Fee (50 minutes): $125
- This applies to individual, couple, and family sessions.
Please note, the initial session fee structure has been simplified. Now, every session, including the first intake session, is at a flat rate of $125. This change eliminates the previous additional assessment and setup fee.
I understand that changes in pricing can impact my clients, and I want to assure you that these adjustments are made to ensure the sustainability of my practice and the quality of your care.
